Last year, when Axie Infinity and P2E games became popular here in the Philippines, multiple gaming guilds formed from left to right, establishing guilds as businesses. It played a big role in getting Filipinos onto Web 3, which opened up opportunities for business and financial stability.
However, managing a community, especially a gaming guild, was not easy. There’s a lot to monitor and manage in terms of players’ performance and distributing their cashouts.
Besides that, guild owners haven’t legitimized their businesses yet. Therefore, BlockchainSpace (BSPC) wants to change that with the launch of Guild Hub.
“Cryptocurrency adoption wouldn’t have reached the level it has today if not for the guild owners and managers who took the initiative to help aspiring Web3 users to enter and thrive in the space,” said BSPC CEO and Founder Peter Ing
Even though guilds play a big part in getting people to use crypto, representatives from Metaverse Ventures Platform, Inc. (MVP) and LimitLess Guild (LLG) Mobius still have trouble getting recognized as legitimate businesses outside of the space. This keeps them from getting more opportunities and growing further as a business.
“Web3 gaming being recognized and accepted as a profession by other institutions has been a major challenge for us in unlocking more opportunities for our members. As long as guilds have this problem, we won’t be able to reach our fullest potential and ensure long-term sustainability for our businesses,” shared MVP CEO Gerb Inajada.
Lucas Low, the founder of LLGMobius, said that they believe that the GameFi community is one of the key drivers of Web 3 development. Therefore, as a part of the ecosystem, they would work together to become good actors and foster growth.
“We assist each other to unlock our full potential, improve our overall perception, and augment our impact in the community,” Low added.
BlockchainSpace Guild Hub Solution
BlockchainSpace aims to solve the problem mentioned above through the Guild Hub. They want to form an effective way of monitoring communities and ensuring that guilds are visible and safe to partner with.
With Guild Hub, guilds get a “Guild Profile,” which is a BSPC-issued identity that lets them access multiple projects and platforms and see services, platforms, products, crypto on-ramps and off-ramps, news, and analytics.
Through Guild Hub, games will be able to find out which guilds they want to work with, and players will be able to find out which communities they want to join. This will make it easier to find products and services and engage with communities on a larger scale.
“The launch of Guild Hub marks the beginning of a new era for guilds. As we at BSPC work to help Web3 businesses gain legitimacy, they’ll be able to enjoy business opportunities to impact not only their members but also communities outside the metaverse,” said Guild Hub General manager Jen Bilango.
The Future of BlockchainSpace
BlockchainSpace is a one-stop shop for all guild needs. They are providing essential, scalable infrastructure, digital tools, financing solutions, and networking opportunities. So far, BlockchainSpace has helped more than 24,000 guilds and 2 million players grow and manage their communities.
Besides that, BlockchainSpace was one of the organizers of the iconic and biggest Web 3 event in the country, the Philippine Web 3 Festival, last week. Therefore, we can see that they are really involved in the space and the community around it.
They have a strong team with the power to influence others and lead. With that, we can conclude that the future of BlockchainSpace is very promising and bright.
