What were you doing before Web3?
Before web3 my life was completely different. I was working a regular job that I hated, and wasting my time in college.
I then dropped out of college and quit my job to pursue content creation. I can absolutely say web3 changed my entire life and woke me up to a lot of things going on in the world.
I am now creating educational Web 3 content and building my community called the Gold Squad.
How did you get into Web3?
I got into web3 because I had a horrible experience with PayPal, where they had banned me from processing payments for my music marketing agency.
I then realized how important decentralization was, and freedom of payments was. This is one of the things that fuels my passion for it to this day.
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
My first crypto project I became aware of was Bitcoin of course, and second was XRP! The first NFT I purchased was Pudgy Penguins, and I made a ton of money flipping those during the bull market.
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?
I would describe myself as an internet entrepreneur, I am more than just a “crypto influencer”. I am building a real online audience / community consisting of over 1 million people who aim to transform every aspect of their lives.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
I enjoy learning from BitBoy Crypto, Megbzk, Altcoin Daily, The Bearable Bull and many more.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
The biggest higlight of my career so far has been hitting 1 million followers on TikTok, and garnering tens of millions of views across all my platforms. Also seeing the education and information I shared change people’s lives and make people hundreds of thousands of dollars (I got the screenshots to prove!)
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
Hashgraph! It’s better than blockchain. I am constantly watching the ‘utility coin’ narrative, because I believe that Bitcoin is played out, old tech that will eventually be surpassed. It’s comparable to Napster when we already have Spotify.
What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?
Immersion is the fastest path to mastery. You must turn yourself into a sponge and learn EVERYTHING you can. Do not ignore ANY perspectives.
