Martin Eusebio, also known as Morten, plays a crucial role in Web3 Jobs Asia, aiding web3 companies in recruiting talented job seekers. Additionally, he is an integral part of Att3nd, an organization dedicated to organizing impactful web3 events in the Philippines.
What were you doing before Web3?
I’m Morten! We’re building Web3 Jobs Asia to help recruiters and referrers earn bounties when they refer job seekers to jobs and they get hired.
How did you get into Web3?
I got into Web3 during the ECQ in 2021 – My friends got into Futures trading and they doubled my PHP5,000 overnight!
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
It was when we organized Web3 PH Summit – It was a 2-day summit to gather Web3 project founders and educate each other about what’s currently hot and not and so people in the space can network and explore collaboration opportunities.
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?
Although we do serve web3 clients at Web3 Jobs Asia and ATT3ND, our jobs is still very much Web3. It’s simple – we look for web3 job seekers web3 companies can hire, and we organize events for web3 companies -It’s a web2 job but we serve web3 clients. we’re basically doing the same job for a different market and industry.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Personally it would be my Cereal Entrepreneur Jr. community. I have never met hustlers my age before so it’s really fulfilling to have built a community of young entrepreneurs and aspiring ones with so much fire within them. It’s beautiful and inspiring.
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
Cliché, but definitely AI!
What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?
We all start as a beginner! DYOR is a very important mindset to have so you dont fall for scams or fake news. Finding your community is always helpful because where else are you going to find people who can support you, your projects, and your journey.
If you could do a TED talk on any topic, what would it be?
I’ve always loved Angela Duckworth-Lee’s TED talk’s on grit! I’ve always been a firm believer of passion because I think that’s what’s made all the 80+ projects I’ve executed in the past 5 years successful.
What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?
My mom! haha The one person I could never survive without? or maybe my laptop because I’m a workaholic 😂
