What were you doing before Web3?
How did you get into Web3?
I was already trading stocks and during the pandemic, I got exposed to crypto. Trading crypto was such a breath of fresh air, from the lower fees, better UI/UX, 24/7 markets, and you know largeeee gains.
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?
I spend my days staring at blinking numbers on a screen, hoping they magically align in my favor. Kidding aside, I make money when things go up and when things go down and I teach other people to do the same with a simple mechanical system.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
There’s a LOT of people I enjoy learning from on a day to day basis but off the top of my head here are some creators/leaders that are worth following simply for their sheer excellence in their respective fields.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
The biggest highlight of my career so far has been the exhilarating journey of earning, learning, and providing value to more 22,000 individuals on Tiktok in the web3 space. Being part of a community where I provide value, gain knowledge from the best minds, and network with industry pioneers, is just surreal to me.
Just…witnessing the impact of my contributions on the lives of others and being at the forefront of this vibrant ecosystem will always be something that fulfills me.
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
Artificial Intelligence. The development in the AI space are crazy and it’s just about to be crazier. Definitely watch this space and try to get involved.
What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?
DO NOT RUSH. Take your time to build your skills, cultivate a growth mindset, and research profusely. Even though the space thrives on fast-paced stuff, I firmly believe this and always echo this to my students as well: Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
In contrast to the popular saying “fake it ’til you make it,” I advocate for having a stack of undeniable proof that you are who you say you are. It’s essential in establishing a strong track record, showcasing your expertise, knowledge, and achievements. By prioritizing substance over appearances, you can build credibility and earn the trust of others in the web3 community.
If you could do a TED talk on any topic, what would it be?
I’m probably gonna do a talk on “Why Most Traders Are Bound to Fail”.
What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?
Swiss Army Knife! Gonna survive through everything MacGyver style. :>
POW stands for “Proof of Work.” It is a new feature article series in The Mega Maxi to highlight the savviest builders in the Web3 space.
