Earlier this quarter, The Mega Maxi has successfully launched our Student Ambassador Program. During the first weeks of the program, we conducted learning sessions and educational webinars about NFTs, crypto, and the blockchain. Our student ambassadors share their experiences since joining the program.

My first month as The Mega Maxi Student Ambassador has been very informative and exciting! I was introduced (and refreshed) to a lot of new and existing terms and slangs, used not just in crypto and NFT but IRL too! Learning more about blockchain technology, crypto, and NFTs opened up my mind to possibilities that these developments pose in the near-future, since the public has seen drastic improvement from these technologies.

Learning about these technological advancements is important especially if you’re a young person, since you’ll be dealing with these and would soon be part of your day-to-day life! For me, the rise of blockchain technology has its own pros and cons. But if you keep learning everyday (reading, experimenting, and listening), you can continually build your expertise around this and benefit from your built knowledge!

Entering the crypto world might be very daunting for first-timers because of the issues that surround the environment, and experiences that enthusiasts spread in social media and by word of mouth. But don’t fret, because The Mega Maxi is here to assist me in learning and introduce the Web3 space in a fun and engaging way!

As a whole, this whole web3 is a very interesting and promising metamorphosis of the current state of the internet. It can serve as a transformative force that would allow its users to experience ownership to a different level. As a result, we students who are in the early stages of our lives relatively speaking can use this as an opportunity to become one of the early developers just like Richard Branson one of the most influential people in the world said and how we end our very first session “No failure means no risk, which means nothing new”.

Given that it may look risky and may become a failing venture but if we all have the willingness to educate ourselves more we can and we will minimize those risks and platforms like The Mega Maxi would be a great start to help you in your web3 journey as it can help you learn more about the space, make better calls and decisions, and of course share these learnings to a wider audience like you who is also interested with the blockchain technology.

One thing I can say is that the NFT and crypto space create many money-making opportunities for the creative people. And its highly a good thing, especially for those who want a contributing career and at the same time doesn’t consume too much of their time. Well, because we don’t just live for money alone! There are more interesting thing to do and working 8-12 hours a day for a company isn’t one of them (laughs). So there’s that, NFTs and cryptos support creativity. It respects people’s time and interest. It gives more options for investment. It adds up to our current work options. And for the next generation of workforce (us, the students) we value life so much now that we would never want to end up overly dependent on our employer just for us to eat. I hope we wouldn’t. And I’m truly grateful Web3 NFTs and crypto are booming in our days. I don’t have money now though, but hoping soonest I can invest too! (laughs)
