Footprint Analytics is the first no-coding crypto data platform. It has been making waves in the industry under Wade’s technical expertise.
What were you doing before Web3?
Previously I’m a data scientist. I’m building credit score model for digital lending across several countries.
How did you get into Web3?
Our co-founder of footprint analytics tries to convince me to join Web3 in 2021. After doing some market research, I discovered that Web3 has a massive amount of public data, but not many of them are suitable for an easily accessible BI tool like Tableau.
And meanwhile, there aren’t enough structure data layers for Web3. We think there is a market need for this, so we went for it.
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
Back to 2019, we create some crypto info app similar to CoinMarketCap. And I was a quant in 2020, trading crypto in centralized exchange.
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?
You could access and own your data, rather than some tech giant in Web2.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
CEO of Element marketplace, which is the first community driven aggregated marketplace. He’s a thoughtful leader in Web3.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
A few AI companies are public blockchain companies become our clients. And more clients are trying to use footprint analytics as a data service provider since they found footprint analytics got the richest structure data in NFT and crypto game sectors across so many blockchains.
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
The combination of game & NFT marketplace.
What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?
As an ex-degen , I would say protect your fund.
If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?
Will crypto win more market share or remain with its own Utopia in the future.
