Hi! I’m Steph and I am a co-founder and the Head of Curation and Collections of Artifract. I also happen to be the CEO of MCI, a high performing digital agency and PetchMC, an award-winning big creatives agency.

How did you get into Web3?

It was several years back and Bitcoin started being word of mouth so I tried it out. Since then, crypto’s been a “safe” space for me. As for my very first NFT exposure, it was heavily more art for me tbh.

I’ve always been into art collecting and I started helping out friends in curating their private collections. One of them is a business partner of mine. Being a serial entrepreneur that he is, he suggested to me NFTs.

With NFTs however, I was kind of clueless so I started reading and studying about them heavily it’s when it hit me how to position Artifract very uniquely.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

Bitcoin is my crypto baby. But Artifract is my very first NFT project ever.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

In the most layman way possible: We allow the arts to be present in the blockchain. Once they’re there, we allow people to own a piece of history and aid our partners raise funding for the preservation of their respective crafts.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

Buddha. It allows me to re-center amidst the chaos and very grounding which are primary values that I uphold.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

The partnerships we’ve been closing in Artifract are the most coveted and most esteemed movers in Philippine Fine Arts and very soon, Music. That makes all of us very proud.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

Super looking forward to see and experience the new level of crypto-gaming; with lore infused.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

Start reading! It’s fun to be curious. Just digest all the information and slowly practice. It’s actually a good time to try out crypto/NFTs, friendly amounts for starters especially.

If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?

The Unfabulous Life of a CEO. HAHAHAHA!

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

My tanning oil. LOL.
