What were you doing before Web3?

Before venturing into Web3, I was running a digital marketing agency in Web2.

I help small businesses grow their businesses online.

Now, I help both web3 and web2 projects navigate the internet to provide value and grow.

How did you get into Web3?

I have always been fascinated by new innovations. However, what got me into Web3 was NFTs.

I was curious as to why people were spending a lot of money for “JPEGS”.

I dived in to learn more and I was glad I did. I learned more about NFT, Web3, and had some side jobs helping projects.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

My first NFT project was Cloudees. It was an ETH based NFT project with lots of potentials. However, the founder got sick and that was the end of the project sadly.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

I would explain Web3 to a newbie as a world of freedom to create, learn, and do things people thought not possible especially in the corporate world.

Web3 embraces innovative ideas and creation. It’s the next step where users have more control over what they put other there and what they consume.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

There are numerous people and leaders I have been following in the Web3 space. But chief among them is Gary Vee.

While he may not be super active in the Web3 space, he inspired me to take what I got into Web3 and because of that I found my place in Web3.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

The biggest highlight of my Web3 career would be the connections that I have created between myself and others. And the connections I created between other people.

Sure, I have earned here and there. But for me nothing beats those meaningful connections you build on trust and respect.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

For me I’m watching GameFi (especially 2.0) and wearable tech.

We have come so far and I think wearable tech (exosuits) will be great. For example think of its applications in trainings.

I’m also watching out for new stable coins coming out this year.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

It’s never to late to start. Be yourself and build your portfolio on trust and respect. Learn everyday and apply what you learn.

Don’t be in a hurry. Focus on being consistent. Show up everyday.

If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?

That would be building a community in Web3 and Web3 marketing for new projects.

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

If I was stuck in a deserted island there’d be a high chance that I wouldn’t know that I’d be stuck there. But if I got a chance to bring something. It’d be a jetpack to get out of there lol.

Extra Notes:

Whatever you are building, stay true. It takes time and effort to build something worthwhile, don’t give up. You’ll get there surely.

If you got any questions or need help, I’d be happy to help you out. Therefore, don’t hesitate to send me a DM in Twitter.

POW stands for “Proof of Work.” It is a new feature article series in The Mega Maxi to highlight the savviest builders in the Web3 space.
