Marvin Favis is a Filipino Youtube vlogger and influencer who has garnered more than 4,000,000 followers. His vlogs revolve around his insights, knowledge, and making reviews about cryptocurrency.

 What were you doing before Web3?

Aside from being a cryptocurrency coach, I’m also a trader and a businessman. I own restaurants, super clubs and bars.

Aside from that, I also have prior experience in Multilevel Marketing and worked for ABS-CBN and GMA network for 2 years.

 How did you get into Web3?

In 2013, I was introduced to Bitcoin, but I didn’t buy. In 2015, however, I bought 3 bitcoins.

I was a forex trader back then, and I started transitioning and adding crypto to my trading portfolio.

 What was your first crypto or NFT project?

Bitcoin, ETH, BNB, XRP and ADA. My first NFT project that I bought was Brakeball. I didn’t know back then that it was a rug pull project

 How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

I always told them that I’m involve into teaching people how powerful and how this digital technology or digital money can help us now and in the future. Its just like an evolution of money and tech for people.

 Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

 What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Everyday is my biggest highlight, I grow everyday and keeps getting better than I am last year.

 What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

I always watch what’s happening to the economy that affects crypto, to feds, inflation and latest crypto projects that has a good utility.

 What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

Don’t invest into something you don’t understand, but if you want to get involve with web3, make sure you know the risk and study first. DYOR.
