POW with Lorenzo Llamas
Lorenzo Llamas or Lorenzo Victor A. Llamas is a tech entrepreneur and comic book collector who founded Anavari Digital NFT Comics.
He designed and made Uragon, earth’s new guardian angel. He is also a co-founder and current COO of Foxy Influencer Management Company alongside TV actress and influencer celebrity Angelica Bianca Lapuz.
Lorenzo is the owner of Zezzco Studios, a Web2 development company that has evolved into an NFT company and future Web3 tech house. He has been in the crypto space since the founding of Ripple network and their coin XRP.
What were you doing before Web3?
Building my comic book company and my Influencer management startup. Was into Forex trading and many more activities.
How did you get into Web3?
I was doing crypto since college days trading in and out. I also got into crypto mining back then just to have extra income for college outings.
After that, I saw the potential in the decentralized technology or the blockchain technology. So, I tried to understand it’s concept.
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
Anavari publishing is my first NFT project and technically this is my very cornerstone. I am confident in combining my two passions—a comic book company through which I can sell stories to movie production houses and a NFT company that produces excellent artworks.
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?
Very simple do you like watching superhero movies? Are you an avid collector? Good you should buy my product.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
I look up to several thought leaders that influence my daily life. Here’s a quick rundown of who they are and why I admire them:
1. Elon Musk:The vision that this man has is truly astonishing. It is by far unprecedented that he inspires me to take on the universe. Plus, he was a comic book fan like me when he started. And he also loves watching movies, which is one of my goals to make my NFT comic book company influence generations of new leaders.
2. Richard Branson of Virgin company: I love his humility and dynamic thinking and specially his ability to diversify
3. Dan Price of Gravity Payments: He inspires me to take care of my staff and team. And give them the proper investment and returns for their efforts unlike most capitalist.
4. Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate:They are the forces that drive me to pursue entrepreneurship and business. I listen to their theme song every day. They remind me of why I am doing this, which is to conquer the earth.
Besides that, they remind me not to disappoint my ancestors and not be a terrible waste of space on the planet like other men. They taught me to value conquering the world over how to date women. They reminded me to be a better leader and to take ownership of my masculinity.
5. Kanye West:I admire his outspoken mind, and his music is amazing. I love how he stands for his beliefs and his knack for business and entrepreneurship.
6. Donald Trump: I love his sense of activism and outspokenness. Aside from that, I admire how he handles tons of haters.
7.Jordan Peterson: I am in love with psychology he is the biggest psychologist I respect the most
8. Ben Shapiro: He is just a real G.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
The launching of Anavari NFTs this 2023.
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
A close friend of mine, John Blaylock, is developing his own endowment token called Ophir, and I am also looking at the Vorz app as an alternative to TikTok.
Aside from these Philippine technologies, I am interested in Polygon Matic technologies. I have always been a proponent of practical playstyles. Therefore, I believe polygons would be a good fit for a blockchain.
I also believe Flow will be the next big thing. There are too many to mention in just one article, but one of them is Kybernetic Crystals. I have been a fan of them since they began, and I still invest in their coins.
I also think that Fifa Collect and other sports-related NFTs would be good things to look out for. For other technologies than crypto, I am currently reading about immortality technology, in which people can reverse aging. It sounds crazy, but I love the idea and am open to it, as well as artificial intelligence.
What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?
Simply put, do not let people who pose in the background with Lamborghinis and yachts influence you. If you want to explore Web3, start with education.
Also, you can follow me on social media because I will be collaborating with platforms to share crypto talks with some of my industry colleagues.
Second, stop thinking that you can get rich quick with crypto. Tonight you invest; tomorrow you own a Bugatti and are dating Beyonce. This is where it hurts, and a lot of people are losing their hard-earned money because of stupid mindsets like these.
Polish your knowledge of crypto the way a sword is forged in the flames. If they are offering you cryptocurrency that sounds like an MLM, please use some common sense; you know this is probably a scam.
If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?
How decentralization could give power back to the people. And how it could end tyrannical abuse in any government, as well as why we should replace banking systems with decentralized technology because I dislike what the banking system provides.
They do not disclose everything to the people, which is not right because they ask the population to disclose information when we open an account. But when we are going to withdraw money, I do not understand why we need to disclose or ask permission.
What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?
My Rosary and my St Benedict Crucifix. With God nothing is Impossible. No deserted Island cannot be conquered as long as you have the holy trinity by your side.
POW stands for “Proof of Work.” It is a new feature article series in The Mega Maxi to highlight the savviest builders in the Web3 space.
