Kartik is a Founder & CEO of BitFashionX, and is building various projects in the Web3 space.

He’s also on the Advisory Board at Cyber Cosmos World and is an Investor in projects such as Coins Paid, Synesis one, Decubate.com, Block Bank and more.

 What were you doing before Web3?

I am currently the Founder & CEO of BitFashionX (Previously known as Dreamer’s Apparels), a New Zealand-based crypto fashion company. Besides that, I also run K and K travel agency.

I am also a registered travel agent with Evolution Travel Group and Archers Travels in the USA and Australia.

My passions include DeFi, DAOs, AI, Space Exploration, IoT. I am a private blockchain tech early-stage investor in companies like LPPFusion, Navisyo, VbitDC, BlockBankApp, Synesis one and others.

Moreover, I’m also a bullish ambassador at the world’s first DAMF (Decentralised Autonomous Mutual Fund) NFT project. I am currently working in the charity, voting and healthcare sector using Blockchain technology.

 How did you get into Web3?

I became interested in technology as a way to support and invest in projects related to my passions.

 What was your first crypto or NFT project?

I bought my first crypto ($BTC) in 2017 when it was $970.75 USD. First NFT I bought was Cyber Cosmos World and I am also advising the same project now.

 How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

To someone outside of Web3, I would explain that I am a business owner in the apparel and travel industries, and that I am also an investor in companies that use blockchain technology.

I am interested in using this technology to support charitable and social causes, and I am watching trends related to DeFi, DAOs, Blockchain. Overall, my work involves managing my businesses, investing in technology, and exploring new opportunities to use technology for positive impact.

 Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

 What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

I am grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that I have had throughout my career, and I don’t feel comfortable singling out any one highlight as being the biggest.

Each experience has taught me valuable lessons and helped me to grow both personally and professionally.

 What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

Trends related to Artificial intelligence, Smart Contracts, and I am also keeping an eye on how governments and regulatory bodies are responding to the growth of the crypto industry, and how this may affect the overall landscape of the industry in the coming years.

 What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

If someone is starting out in Web3, I might advise them to start by researching and learning about the technology, investing in projects that align with their passions, and networking with others in the field.
