HuayJi, or Huayji_Gemini on Twitter, is a Filipino Guild Founder, Social Media Manager, and Chief Marketing Officer, and an enthusiast of various Web3 projects in the space.

  What were you doing before Web3?

Before web3 I was just a simple college student. I usually spend my free time creating vector art and cooking due to the boredom of the pandemic.

How did you get into Web3?

It all started when my friend of mine invited me to become a scholar for a P2E Game, Axie Infinity. Since then I have become interested to know more about the environment

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

My 1st owned NFT project was a P2E game, Plants vs Undead. Was able to invest from my earnings as a scholar of Axie Infinity.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

Web3 is a never ending lesson, you’ll always have something to look forward to.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

Sir Kookoo influenced me a lot especially in Web3. The only time you should stop dreaming is when you achieve your dream.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

For me, the biggest highlight of my career so far is being able to be part of a community. And be able to work as the Community Manager. I was able to share my knowledge with the community and at the same time meet new people

Integration of metaverse to our social media

What advice would you give someone starting out in web3?

Always do your own research before entering a space. Surround yourself with people whom you can trust and grow together
