Harry Santos is the Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Stanible, a digital marketplace for people to shop exclusive NFT collectibles from their favorite artists and creators.
What were you doing before Web 3?
I’ve been a digital marketer for over a decade, coming from both the ad agency and client side, handling global major brands like Nestle, Coca-Cola, Spotify, and many others.
How did you get into web3?
I first attended Bitcoin meetups back in 2013, this was during the height of the financial crisis in Cyprus and other parts of Europe. My libertarian friends and I, at the time, got very interested in the solutions that Bitcoin could offer.
What was your first crypto or NFT project?
I’m actually a first-time founder and Stanible is my first. Although before that I actually worked in SCI (Satoshi Citadel Industries), one of the first blockchain companies in the country, and that’s where I met my co-founders in Stanibkle now.
How would you explain what you do to someone outside of web3?
I help creators and artists mint unique digital collectibles out of their photos and videos (more commonly known as NFTs) and for their fans to collect them even without getting into crypto – this, or some version of this, is the working one-liner I work with.
Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?
Andreas Antonopolous, Erik Vorhees, Bankless podcast, etc.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Moving from the corporate world to starting my own thing here with Stanible.
What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?
Bitcoin’s Lightning network, Nostr, AI stuff like ChatGPT of course, and I also love real-world NFT utilities,
What advice would you give someone starting out in web3?
Be careful who you trust (eg. who you work with), in fact, as we always say: don’t trust, verify!

Some interesting parts of crypto history; or maybe on topic of Improving the UX of crypto/Web3
What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted island?
Satellite phone lol, or maybe a survival go bag
