What were you doing before Web3?

I work as a graphic designer and indulge in visual art as my personal passion.

How did you get into Web3?

NFTs entered my world through Beeple, and suddenly I discovered a new way for digital artists to thrive financially. This hit home for me because I had given up on art for four years due to a lack of financial success. But thanks to NFTs, I found a path to earning money I had never dreamed of before.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

Shortly after getting invited in Foundation, I minted my first NFT, which sold for 0.15 ETH just days after its creation, using a portion of my monthly salary to buy the cryptocurrency.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

I create art and trade them for shiny internet coins! It’s like playing Monopoly, but with creativity and a touch of digital whimsy.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

Shavonne Wong, Clara Peh, and Zenavi, both esteemed figures at NFT Asia, have truly inspired me with their exceptional leadership qualities and dedication to fostering thriving communities. Additionally, Aswang stands out as a highly influential creator whom I greatly admire for their remarkable ability to infuse gamification into their artistic journey, showcasing unparalleled innovation.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Aside from the thrill of seeing my artwork reaching different corners of the world, one of the most memorable moments in my NFT journey was co-organizing and co-curating an exhibition at NFT Bali for NFT Asia. Witnessing the event come to life made all the sleepless nights worthwhile.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

I’m really interested in dynamic NFTs.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

Don’t let those crazy headlines about people striking it rich with NFTs blind you. It’s important to remember that it’s not as straightforward as it may seem.

If you could do a TED talk on any topic, what would it be?

“Rekindling Your Passion”

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

Probably water hehe.

POW stands for “Proof of Work.” It is a new feature article series in The Mega Maxi to highlight the savviest builders in the Web3 space.
