Ev, also known as “Your Web3 Sis” is part of the French Web3 community. She also helps onboard people into learning more about NFTs and Crypto as a co-host of the Twitter space called Very Roring.

What were you doing before Web3?

I’ve been working on event planning and sales for 7 years. I am still currently working on sales for a French company. However, I’m also looking to get full time into Web3.

The best would be to work as an event coordinator for a project or a web3 conference. I’m part of a French community, helping them to develop and onboard as much as new people as we can.

How did you get into Web3?

I started with crypto in 2020 then got into NFTs at the end of 2021 without doing much research I got rugged on my two first NFTs but then I got educated and found out the beauty of Web3.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

Alien secret society, a project run by French and American Web 2 influencer, but he got rugged 6 months after mint.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

Teaching and learning Web3, buying collectibles, meeting new people, and building the future of Web3.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

I started with Gary Vee, but there are many others that can be added, with founders Yuga labs, Delabs, Osf and Mando being great leaders in my opinion to learn from.

And there are many other content creators, and speakers that are doing amazing work in this ecosystem.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Being able to be part of the rektguy community and learning every day next to the best creators and founders.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

AI for improving jobs efficiency and the use of Soulbound token.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

Spend time to learn the basics of the blockchain, crypto and learn how to do your research on founders of project.

Only spend money you can afford to lose because it’s still very volatile. Spend some time in Twitter spaces, learn from successful founders and successful builders.

Don’t be influenced by the trend of the moment. Close your dm and do not send crypto to anyone that says they can help you but need money for some fees. Do not click on links that you don’t know.

If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?

The underrated value of a community in an NFT project.

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

A bottle.
