Dylan Rhodes, also goes by the nickname “Dyl”, is a Multi-Platinum awarded artist pioneering the pavement for success in the Web3 music community.

Aside from track recording, he is also an entrepreneur from Philadelphia, PA.

What were you doing before Web3?

I’ve been a music artist for 10 years and also founded Advantage Blockchain in 2016.

How did you get into Web3?

I started trading crypto learning about ETH, eventually got into ETH at $7, and founded Advantage Blockchain in 2016.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

I started with Advantage Blockchain 2016. After that, I founded BITG NEWS in 2017-2018. Next, I made the Crypto Rich album in 2019 and then I worked for Vertalo until 2020. Finally, I switched to Music NFTs full time in late 2020.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

I sell music for crypto.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Releasing my own Music Independently and performing for 15,000.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

Music NFTs.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

Start with low price NFTs such as objkt / Tezos. 

If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?

Music NFTs will create billion dollar market caps for artists.

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

A burberry shirt.
