POW with Cakey

Cakey or Cakey-sta on Twitter, is the co-founder of the Ano Dao and a whitelist hunter. Besides that, she also work with several notable projects and exclusive DAOs, including Wasta Corp  and Robinhood Dao.

What were you doing before Web3?

I’m a business ad graduate, and a full-time degen since April of 2022. Besides that, I’m the co-founder and core team member of @TheAnoDao , and the first whitelist hunter as well.

Moreover, I work for a variety of notable projects and exclusive DAOs currently. Some of them are Taiyo Operators, Luna Labs, Wasta Corp, and Robinhood Dao.

How did you get into Web3?

It was April 2022, I grinded for some ETH projects before and hop into Solana last May 2022.

At first it was difficult dealing what’s inside of Web3 but of course we grow into it. We eventually see how good is it to be in Web3.

What was your first crypto or NFT project?

Tbh, My first mint was Sweetooth, Pengsol and Shrouded NFT.

How would you explain what you do to someone outside of Web3?

I tried to explain flipping/holding Jpegs in Web3 + Having work in Web3, but ofc they don’t believe it.

Which creator or thought leader do you enjoy learning from?

They were a lot of leaders I admire, first was my core members Areti,  Parzi, Tomi, Carnifexus and Astro but I learned more to President Charter about doing Web3 stuffs.

What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?

The biggest highlight of my career is being a co-founder of a Filo Dao called AnoDao, wherein I help them get those good WL spots and skip grinding.

What tech or crypto trend are you watching this year?

Still watching for Solana to pump, but ofc we are in bear market, but we still grind for that.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Web3?

My advise is, at the beginning its hard, you need some friends to be with you, you need to trust yourself for it, also make a goal to do it.

If you could do a TEDtalk on any topic, what would it be?

For my TED talk, I’d like to discuss the founders’ backgrounds, followed by what the founders are building and the project’s NFT utilities, as well as what happens if the project does not sell out and what the next step is.

What is the one thing you would bring if you were stuck on a deserted Island?

I will bring a spear so I can hunt to eat and to survive.
