Polygon, Neobank Hi, and Mastercard Launch NFT Debit Cards
Polygon has announced its partnership with Web 3 Neobank Hi and Mastercard to launch custom NFT debit cards.
Moreover, this partnership is the latest strategic move by Polygon, which is trying to become the face of gasless fees for NFTs.
COMPLETE FREEDOM TO #WEB3 CREATORS
Polygon is proud to collaborate with @hi_com_official to allow users to easily generate an NFT, using their favorite image, to customize a Debit @Mastercard.
The best part? It’s a gasless minting experience.

Custom NFT Debit Cards
Polygon wallet holders can now customize their Mastercard debit cards with their favorite NFT. This debit card allows them to spend crypto and fiat currencies at more than 90 million merchants around the world.
If you want to receive this exclusive card, you must download the HI app, sign up, and select at least a silver-level card or higher. After that, you’ll be able to customize your card with NFTs minted by Polygon.
You can mint your own NFT to customize your debit card by simply uploading an image from your computer. You can, however, claim a free Polygon NFT if you don’t own any NFTs or import your existing NFTs as well.
Besides that, members of the Hi and Mastercard will also earn Spend Rewards of up to 10%, travel benefits, and discounts on up to twenty digital subscriptions in addition to this special offer.
“The team at #Polygon are true blockchain pioneers, we are delighted to be partnering with them to explore new frontiers of Web3, particularly in the banking and payments space,” Sean Rach, the Co-Founder of Hi, said.
Conclusion
This is not the first time that Hi and MasterCard have teamed up with each other. In fact, they already released the world’s first customizable NFT debit cards.
However, customers could only use NFTs from blue-chip collections like the Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks.
With Polygon added to the mix, users now have more freedom to create and design their debit cards, as well as showcase their NFTs to the world.
