Objkt.com: Largest NFT Marketplace on Tezos Now Supports ETH
As NFTs continue to rise, several NFT marketplaces also emerged, each one racing for the top in the fast-growing market.
And given Opensea and Blur’s current user war, it’s evident that the competition has seemingly tightened over time.
But despite their ongoing tensions, objkt.com recently made a game-changing move that local NFT artists have been waiting to see.
Interested? Then let’s find out more!
THE ALPHA
It’s a highlight moment for the Tezos community, as objkt.com officially announced that it’s now accepting ETH as a cryptocurrency payment.
To give a background, objkt.com only accepted XTZ (Tezos) and Bitcoin as the primary cryptocurrencies for NFT-related transactions.
As a result, the change not only allowed local artists to join, but also welcomed worldwide OG ETH whales in the marketplace to trade.
Sound bullish, right? Now..
WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Many aspiring Filipino artists are currently minting their NFTs in objkt.com mainly because of the following benefits, such as:
Built under Tezos blockchain: objkt.com comprises the Tezos network, which offers several advantages over other marketplaces, including lower transaction fees, faster transactions, and a more energy-efficient algorithm.
Innovative Features: the NFT marketplace allows creators to receive payments according to their preferred currency. Also, it has a feature called “objkt drops,” which enables creators to mint multiple NFTs at once.
Besides those, objkt.com has one of the largest Filipino NFT communities for emerging local NFT artists called Tezos Filipinos.
And following its recent ETH payment update, the news paved the way for objkt.com to:
Diversify Tezos Filipinos by bringing international voices to the community to help aspiring Filipino artists gain exposure and recognition in the global NFT scene.
Increase awareness about Tezos by attracting new artists and collectors to the ecosystem with its unique perks and NFT community, which could contribute to the growth and development of the blockchain and Tezos Filipinos
Now, if you’re an aspiring Filipino artist who hasn’t heard about the community, you may be wondering..
