Co-Founder of Cool Cats Steps Down To Advisor Role
Evan Luga, one of the co-founders of Cool Cats, recently announced his voluntary demotion into the position of advisor to explore new opportunities.
The former Cool Cat’s co-founder posted a Twitter thread on Monday implicating his status after a year of growing the project.
“I’m happy to announce that I’ve decided to step into the role of advisor for @coolcats and step back from the day-to-day granularities of brand & biz dev.”, Luga said in a thread.
Although the news did not provide in-depth details about the choice, his main motive for the said decision was that he missed propagating his own projects.
“Through the journey with the cats I’ve also realized I miss the ability to incubate and start my own projects, and scaling is a much different beast than launching a project.”
The official Twitter page of Cool Cats also shared the same tweet following his announcement.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR COOL CATS?
Despite the changes being made, Luga still aims to continue helping the project towards success behind the scenes.
”I’ll always be fighting the good fight of repping the brand, spreading the cool, and bringing the right partners and collaborators into the Cool Cats ecosystem, but I’m also eager to spread my wings and get back to cooking up some more original Elu goodness.”
This seems a difficult choice for the team because the project has gained an outstanding reputation in the market with Luga’s help since its launch.
Without their co-founder, it would take time for them to fill Luga’s main responsibilities in further developing the project.

The cats were saddened to hear the statement considering Luga’s significant role in the project’s development and their bond with each other throughout the period.
But still, the Cool Cat’s community supports his new undertaking and is grateful for the contributions that brought the project to the top of the rankings.
