Binance Releases An AI-Powered NFT Generator

As you’ve noticed, AI technology has been a controversial trend lately due to circulating debates around its results for humanity.

Sure, it’s good in some aspects, but what about its contributions to the field of digital arts? Is it helping artists, or worse, replacing them?

By taking note of Google and Bing’s ongoing competition, Binance also gains interest and decides to join for potential benefits.

But instead of search engine functionality, the company deploys its AI application through NFT art.

THE ALPHA

Just recently, Binance NFT Marketplace released Bicasso, an AI-Powered tool that generates art images in seconds.

Consequently, users can mint the created images on the platform’s native BNB chain as NFTs.

Due to its features, many degens got interested and immediately tried it at the time of its release on Wednesday.

“You can turn your creative visions into NFTs with AI. Give it a try and show me what you make with it.” Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said on Twitter.

Bicasso works similarly to other AI art generators like Midjourney or DALL-E, turning prompt words into unique images.

Although it’s still in beta, Bicasso instantly became a hit as it struggled to keep up with users because of too many requests. 

In fact, nearly 3,300 users have minted at least one Bicasso NFT, which led the platform to reach its maximum capacity of 10,000 NFT mints, according to Binance’s data.

HOW TO USE BICASSO?

The platform is currently undergoing maintenance, and users can only join its waitlist while it’s getting polished.

But despite its minor issue, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use Bicasso once it entirely operates back. 

  • Log in to Binance’s NFT Website

  • Upload your chosen image

  • Type a prompt in English that best describes how you want the picture to appear

That’s it! And the AI-Powered tool will produce an image that suits your desired outcome.

PROBLEMS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF AI

Since the release of AI art generators, this breakthrough has alarmed digital artists in the space due to these reasons:

  • AI-powered art generators are far more efficient and fast

  • Productions show little to no mistakes

  • They are flexible and capable in terms of creating different types of art

These qualities make them advantageous, and it’s pretty scary for NFT Artists out there.

If these developments improve and continue to produce excellent results over time, dire times will come when people prefer and use AI art more rather than human-made ones.
