ABS-CBN’s Idol Philippines Is The First Filipino Program to Launch NFTs

ABS-CBN’s Idol Philippines makes history as first Filipino program to launch non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The network will release digital trading cards in partnership with Theta Network. The NFTs will be available on Theta Network NFT marketplace, ThetaDrop.

The first drop happened last August 12, which featured a commemorative digital collectible of the Idol Philippines logo at Php 50 each and Golden Ticket NFT tickets that cost Php 999 each. Holders can use these NFTs for the live shows throughout August to September.

The program’s viewers can also purchase the Finalist Pack that showcases Idol Philippines contestants for Php 899 each.

There are also Platinum Ticket NFTs which cost Php 1,999 each and can be used as passes to the Idol Philippines grand finals on September 17 and 18. Owners of the these NFTs will also have the chance to meet the grand winner of the show.
