A Year of Success and a Bold New Chapter for The Mega Maxi

It’s hard to believe that The Mega Maxi is turning 1 year old this July. It’s been an incredible journey so far in our mission to be the premier hub for web3 news and insights.

We couldn’t be more proud of the milestones we’ve achieved and the amazing community we’ve built.

Allow me to take a moment to reflect on the year we’ve had and share some of our most notable accomplishments:

CELEBRATING CREATORS AND INNOVATORS

We had the honor of being media partners for nearly all the major web3 events in the Philippines. We proudly covered events like YGG’s Web3 Festival, Bitskwela’s Bull or Bear Debates, Web3 PH’s Web3 Summit, and the Philippine Blockchain Week.

And of course, we brought in the most important highlights of major conferences like the UnboxCon, the Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS), and AcadArena’s CONQuest.

SHOWCASING THE BEST OF WEB3

We worked with amazing content partners to showcase some of the biggest projects in the space. Shoutout to yourPRstrategist, Blockchain Asia, Metasports, Playdex, Emfarsis, Coins.ph, Bitskwela, Ponds NFT, and Binance to name a few.

We also worked closely with the best NFT projects in the Philippines like Aswang Tribe, Diamond NFT, BreederDAO, Filipinas NFT, Likha, ALABS by PDAX.

INSPIRING THE NEXT SET OF WEB3 LEADERS

We also introduced a new and exciting content series that really captured the attention of our readers. Our Proof of Work (POW) series highlighted the savviest builders in the web3 space.

It was a platform to showcase the talent and dedication of leaders driving crypto adaptation forward. As of this writing, we featured a staggering 167 web3 founders, artists, builders, and leaders.

The best part is that we have plenty more fascinating stories to share with you.

PROVIDING GUIDANCE AND OPPORTUNITIES

But what we are most proud of is that we were able to provide guidance to thousands of our readers who were looking for insights, frameworks, and even job opportunities.

Our Web3 career guide series was a massive hit. The series provided valuable insights every week this 2023 to help our readers learn about the space and what opportunities were there for them.

It also led us to launching our own job board to connect projects with eager and talented jobseekers. We also shared the realities of being an artist in the space with our Artist Spotlight series and our dozens of townhall sessions and Twitter spaces on related topics.

While this is all nice to look back on, we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.

LOOKING AHEAD

Starting today, we have officially expanded our coverage to include news and insights around Artificial Intelligence and other general topics around technology.

We have always been passionate about how emerging technologies level the playing field for everyone. AI has proven pretty quickly that it will be able to increase productivity and output for all sorts of professions.

We believe that this will allow more people to take back their time from work so they can spend it more on the things that truly matter to them.

The opportunity to provide value here was simply too good to pass up on. So here we are promising YOU, our dear readers, that we will continue to provide insights and ideas in the space of crypto and AI.
