Filipino-led decentralized gaming guild, Yield Guild Games (YGG) has announced its partnership with Nas Academy to build an online learning platform Web3 Metaversity.
It will be a creator-focused educational platform, wherein participants can engage with the YGG’s core team, scholarship, and community managers. This partnership’s platform aims to educate those who are new to crypto who want to get onboard with like-minded individuals, acquire new skills, and learn more about the opportunities in the metaverse. This highlights building promising careers in Web3 through a range of different roles, such as community managers, content creators, cryptocurrency traders, NFT artists, or Web2 specialists in the Web3 space. The collaboration will show YGG’s expertise with Nas Academy’s high quality storytelling production to create an optimal learning environment.
“Building an educational community for beginners in the crypto space has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I’m supremely excited to be able to help facilitate people’s first steps into this new world.” Buenaventura said in a statement.
Web3 Metaversity will be hosted on Nas Academy’s community learning portal Nas.io and will be led by YGG Pilipinas Country Manager Luis Buenaventura, ensuring that the courses will be short, fun and jam-packed with actionable information. Weekly and monthly live events with special guest speakers, YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon, YGG Head of Esports Mike Ovecka and YGG Pilipinas Minister of Information Celeste Rodriguez will be featured, among others in these sessions.
Community members who want to join the program must own a YGG Guild Badge NFT allowing access to the Web3 Metaversity’s discord server, video library of the Web3 topics, and different resources supporting the community’s learning journey. YGG Guild Badge can be minted for free on their website.
Nuseir Yassin (widely known as Nas Daily) founder and CEO of Nas Academy, believes that with their partnership, “Web3 will change the world.”
Registrations will be accepted on the Nas.io website on August 23,2022, with portal access scheduled for starting on September 8. The virtual launch party will be on September 14.
