Hugo Boss, a German luxury company has announced that it will collaborate with Imaginary Ones on their first-ever NFT collection. The collection named ‘Embrace Your Emotions’ (EYE) will consist of 1,001 3D animations and will launch in early November.
The collection’s goal is to inspire people to connect with their emotions and to spread the idea that all feelings, positive and negative, are genuine and should be accepted, because the ability to feel and express oneself may considerably benefit one’s mental well-being and general well-being.
Six of the 1,001 NFTs were created to symbolize five common emotions: joy, sorrow, fear, anger, and love.
To commemorate World Mental Health Day on October 10, a unique sixth character featuring all five emotions will be auctioned off, with 100% of the revenues going to Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM).
An allowlist would be needed to access and purchase the HUGO x Imaginary Ones EYE collection.
There will be a total of 1,000 allowlist slots available, with 500 reserved for consumers who purchase a unique shirt. There will be 500 limited-edition shirts available for purchase, each with a QR code that will connect users to a Snapchat Lens to create a special augmented reality effect.
The remaining 500 will be distributed to existing holders of the Imaginary Ones’ genesis NFT collection through Twitter and discord activities
Buying the NFT will provide owners a golden ticket for a 10% discount in the HUGO online store and will also have access to Imaginary Ones’ staking which grants the holders a separate set of special HUGO x IO merchandise, experiences, and content including digital HUGO wearables and HUGO-themed Imaginary Ones drops.
This partnership sees HUGO take a major step forward in its exploration of the metaverse, as the launch of its first-ever NFT collection marks another significant milestone in the global refresh of the brand in 2022.
