Funko announced a partnership with entertainment giant Paramount Global. Overall, this partnership will introduce an NFT series based on the Avatar Legends universe. The Avatar Legends franchise stems on the Nickledeon’s Avatar shows The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Funko’s Avatar Legends Digital Pop will be released on August 9, 2022 on the NFT platform Droppp.
The upcoming Funko and Paramount NFT drop will include characters like Fire Nation Aang, Kuruk, and Painted Lady. These NFTs will feature Funko’s signature bobble-head, pop art style. The Avatar Legends standard packs will cost $9.99 per pack, while premium packs will cost $29.99 per unit.

Funko revealed that there will be a total of 625,000 NFTs in the Avatar Legends Digital Series. Funko’s Avatar Legends buyers will have the chance to get one of the rare Funko Digital Pop which they can redeem for a physical vinyl collectible. Users who look to purchase the Avatar Legends NFT can pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards.

Previously, Funko has already dropped an NFT collection featuring Jay and Silent Bob. In addition, they also released NFTs with Warner Bros, Hanna Barbera, My Little Pony, Transformers, Star Trek, DC Comics, and Iron Maiden.
