We are a leading blockchain / animation company looking for an experienced full-stack software developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing consumer-facing web applications, utilizing web3-based libraries, and working with smart contracts in a secure fashion.

• Develop and maintain consumer-facing web applications using React (Next.JS), CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with web3-based libraries to integrate blockchain technologies and smart contracts into our products.
• Work with Firebase and / or Firestore to create databases for applications.
• Interact with smart contracts in a secure fashion and ensure their integration into our applications.
• Design application UIs in Figma.
• Utilize JavaScript animation libraries such as GSAP or Framer to develop visually stunning web applications.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and launch new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, matching the coding style of the team.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications.
• Participate in bi-daily stand-ups and prioritize effective communication with the team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is ideal, but not required.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer.
• Proficient in front-end web development using React (Next.JS), CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in creating databases in Firebase and Firestore.
• Proficient in utilizing web3-based libraries to integrate blockchain technologies into web applications.
• Experience in designing applications using Figma is ideal, but not required.
• Experienced integrating smart contracts in DAPPs in a secure fashion.
• Experience in utilizing JavaScript animation libraries such as GSAP or Framer is ideal, but not required.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web development best practices such as security, scalability, performance, and accessibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Readily available to fix urgent bugs and downtime.
• Fluent in English.
• Open to daily stand-ups based around EST time.
